Immediate Hire: Procurement / Purchase Engineer (0-2 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Engineer with an M.Tech degree and 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement activities of our leather products manufacturing division, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for leather, hardware, and other manufacturing inputs.

Prepare purchase requisitions and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.

Track order status, manage delivery schedules, and ensure on-time receipt of materials.

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier information, and pricing.

Support in quality inspection of incoming materials and address any discrepancies.

Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, production, quality control) to understand material requirements.

Assist in negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers.

Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
