Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assembly Engineer with 0-2 years of experience. This role is ideal for a recent LLB graduate who possesses a strong understanding of legal frameworks and regulations within the oil and gas sector, and is looking to apply analytical and research skills in a practical engineering support capacity. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards during the assembly and maintenance of oil and gas equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the review and interpretation of technical specifications and assembly procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Support the engineering team in documenting assembly processes, including the preparation of reports and records that adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.

Conduct preliminary research on relevant legal statutes, environmental regulations, and safety standards impacting assembly operations.

Liaise with internal legal and compliance departments to address any regulatory queries or concerns related to equipment assembly.

Assist in the preparation of documentation for permits, licenses, and other regulatory approvals required for operational activities.

Participate in safety audits and ensure that all assembly activities are conducted in accordance with established safety protocols and legal obligations.

Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) with a focus on legal and regulatory adherence.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assembly-related activities and compliance documentation.
