Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Manager / Supervisor to oversee and manage all laundry operations at our facility in Nasik. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong academic background, including a Doctorate/PhD, who is looking to apply their analytical and problem-solving skills in a practical, operational setting within the agrochemical industry. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality laundry services while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of uniforms and other textile items.
- Develop and implement efficient laundry workflows and schedules to meet operational demands.
- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels and managing procurement.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is maintained in good working condition, reporting any issues for repair.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols in the laundry area, aligning with company and regulatory standards.
- Train and manage a team of laundry staff, providing guidance and ensuring performance standards are met.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry processed, supplies used, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their textile needs and ensure timely service delivery.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure garments are cleaned to the highest standards and free from damage.
