Marine / Maritime Pilot (Graduation Not Required) - Mumbai

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marine / Maritime Pilot to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of experience who possess practical knowledge and skills relevant to maritime operations, and where formal graduation is not a prerequisite. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient navigation of vessels in and out of port limits, assisting ship masters with complex maneuvers, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our maritime technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely guide and pilot vessels in and out of port, through restricted channels, and to designated berths.
- Provide expert advice to ship masters on navigation, maneuvering, and vessel handling in challenging conditions.
- Utilize advanced navigation equipment and charting tools to ensure accurate positioning and course plotting.
- Monitor vessel traffic, weather conditions, and tidal information to anticipate and mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with port authorities, harbor masters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless port operations.
- Conduct pre-arrival and departure checks of vessels, including communication protocols.
- Assist in the development and testing of maritime simulation software and AI-driven navigation aids.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of all pilotage operations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and international maritime conventions.
