Opening for Captain / Master Mariner (3-4 Yrs) | Godrej Properties Ltd.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Captain / Master Mariner with 3-4 years of relevant experience for our operations in Surat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maritime operations and logistics, with the ability to apply this expertise in a corporate real estate context, potentially managing logistics for large-scale project developments or specialized site management. This role requires a B.Tech/B.E. degree and a keen eye for detail, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage logistical operations for construction sites and material movement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and operational procedures in line with industry best practices and corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, project management, site supervisors) and external vendors/suppliers to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage documentation related to logistics, permits, and site operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Utilize B.Tech/B.E. knowledge to analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational status and progress.
- Contribute to strategic planning for site development and resource management.
