Recruiting for Deck Fitter / Welder - Pulp & Paper Team

We are seeking an experienced Deck Fitter / Welder with 3-4 years of relevant experience to join our Pulp & Paper team. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree and have a strong understanding of mechanical fitting and welding processes within an industrial manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for maintaining and fabricating equipment essential to our paper production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise fitting and assembly of paper machine components, including deckles, frames, and associated structures.

• Execute high-quality welding (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on various metals for fabrication and repair of equipment.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.

• Conduct regular maintenance and repair of deckle systems and other critical machinery.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during all fitting and welding activities.

• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

• Assist in the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery.
