Mining Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly innovative and analytical Mining Engineer with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our dynamic team in Pune. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply design thinking methodologies to analyze and re-engineer existing mining processes for enhanced efficiency and safety.
- Develop 3D models, simulations, and interactive visualizations of mine sites, equipment, and operational workflows using advanced design software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, process engineers, and IT specialists, to translate complex data into actionable design solutions.
- Conduct user research and ergonomic studies to improve the design of mining equipment and control systems, focusing on human-machine interaction.
- Create prototypes and mock-ups for new mining technologies and operational layouts, testing their feasibility and impact.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation, including blueprints, user manuals, and presentation materials, for internal and client use.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in mining technology, digital twins, AI in mining, and sustainable design practices, and propose their integration into our service offerings.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and presentations for new client engagements, showcasing our unique design-led approach to mining challenges.
