Role Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our team as an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization against financial crime by ensuring compliance with all relevant AML regulations and internal policies. The ideal candidate will leverage their advanced research and analytical skills to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors in India.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial transactions and customer data to detect potential money laundering and terrorist financing activities.

Investigate suspicious activity reports (SARs) and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Develop and implement robust AML policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the biotechnology industry and Indian regulatory landscape.

Stay abreast of evolving AML regulations, industry best practices, and emerging risks relevant to pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams, to ensure effective AML program implementation.

Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to enhance AML detection capabilities.

Provide training and guidance to relevant personnel on AML compliance requirements.
