Job Description
We are seeking a Petrophysicist with 6 years of experience and a BCA degree to join our team in Mumbai. The Petrophysicist will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting well log data to understand subsurface reservoir characteristics. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex geological and petrophysical data into actionable insights for our clients in the financial and auditing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret various types of well log data (e.g., resistivity, porosity, gamma ray) to determine rock and fluid properties.
- Develop and calibrate petrophysical models to estimate reservoir parameters such as permeability, saturation, and lithology.
- Integrate petrophysical data with geological, engineering, and production data for a comprehensive reservoir understanding.
- Prepare detailed petrophysical reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, reservoir engineers, and financial analysts.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in petrophysical techniques and software.
