Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and legally inclined individual to join our dynamic team as a Plant / Factory Manager. This role is ideal for a recent LLB graduate with a keen interest in industrial operations and compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our chemical manufacturing facility in Kolkata, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing plant operations, including production schedules, resource allocation, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and legal standards.
Review and interpret legal documents, contracts, and permits related to plant operations.
Support in developing and implementing plant policies and procedures, ensuring legal soundness.
Liaise with legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
Assist in accident investigation and reporting, focusing on legal implications.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives with a focus on legal compliance and risk mitigation.
