Plant Project Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and legally astute Plant Project Manager with an LLB degree to oversee and manage all phases of plant-related projects within our port facilities in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management principles, coupled with a solid legal foundation to navigate contractual obligations, regulatory compliance, and risk management effectively. This role requires 5 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably within the infrastructure or heavy industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of plant projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and manage project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to project procurement, construction, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national regulations, including environmental, health, and safety (EHS) laws.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including legal and contractual risks.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, government agencies, and internal teams.
• Oversee the procurement process, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation from a legal and commercial perspective.
• Conduct legal due diligence for project-related activities and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor project performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
