Port & Maritime Operations - Other - Gems & Jewellery (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Port & Maritime Operations Associate. This role will support the smooth functioning of our logistics and supply chain operations, specifically focusing on the movement of raw materials and finished goods within the gems and jewellery sector. The ideal candidate will have a BBA/BBM degree and 1-3 years of experience in operations or a related field, with an interest in maritime logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing and coordinating the inbound and outbound shipment of raw materials (uncut diamonds, precious metals) and finished jewellery products.

Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.

Maintain accurate records of all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.

Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.

Support in resolving any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise during transit.

Contribute to the optimization of logistics processes and cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and safety standards in port and maritime operations.
