Process Engineer (Mining)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Process Engineer with 5-5 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our mining operations in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong understanding of process optimization, data analysis, and system design to improve efficiency and productivity in our mining processes. This role requires a unique blend of technical engineering principles and advanced computational skills to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing mining processes using data-driven methodologies and computational tools.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve safety.
- Design and manage simulation models for various mining operations, including extraction, processing, and material handling.
- Utilize MCA expertise to develop custom software solutions or scripts for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, mine planners, and operations staff, to identify and address process bottlenecks.
- Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Train junior engineers and operators on new processes and technologies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mining engineering and relevant software technologies.
