Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QC Microbiologist to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our agrochemical products through rigorous microbiological testing and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of microbial detection methods, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance within the agrochemical industry. While the core responsibilities are scientific, the M.Com background will be leveraged for understanding cost implications of quality deviations, inventory management of lab supplies, and contributing to process efficiency from a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established protocols and pharmacopoeial standards.
- Perform environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling.
- Identify and characterize microorganisms, perform microbial limit tests, and conduct sterility testing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including test results, deviations, and investigations.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in the development and validation of new microbiological test methods.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Manage inventory of laboratory consumables and reagents, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management, highlighting potential cost impacts of quality control measures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Production and Quality Assurance, to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in microbiology and quality control techniques relevant to the agrochemical industry.
