Quantity Surveying - Pulp & Paper (3-5 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our pulp and paper manufacturing projects, from initial calculations to final figures. This role requires a strong understanding of construction costs, contract procedures, and the ability to work effectively with project teams and contractors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial viability and successful execution of our capital expenditure and maintenance projects within the specified budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for new construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the pulp and paper industry.
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and expenditures, preparing regular cost reports and forecasts.
- Manage variations and claims, negotiating with contractors to ensure fair and equitable settlements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Conduct site visits to verify work completed and to assess project status.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to provide cost advice and support.
- Maintain accurate records of all project costs, invoices, and payments.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
