Quantity Surveyor

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a Diploma in a relevant field to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in managing construction costs and contracts, specifically within the retail sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards, from initial cost estimation through to final account settlement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities (BoQs) for retail store construction and fit-out projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
- Manage and administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Monitor project progress and expenditures, reporting any deviations from the budget.
- Valuate work done by contractors and process interim and final payments.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quality.
- Prepare cost reports and maintain financial records for all projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the procurement process, including tender evaluation and contract award.
