Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Media Relations to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.Sc. degree and 1-2 years of experience who is passionate about education and social impact. You will be instrumental in shaping and disseminating our organization's narrative to the media, enhancing our public profile, and fostering positive relationships with journalists and media outlets across India.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and executing media relations strategies to promote Pratham's initiatives and achievements.
* Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
* Monitor media coverage and report on key trends and mentions related to the organization.
* Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media influencers.
* Support the planning and execution of media events and press conferences.
* Conduct research on media landscape and identify new opportunities for coverage.
* Assist in crisis communication efforts and provide timely responses to media inquiries.
* Collaborate with program teams to gather compelling stories and data for media outreach.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all media communications.
