Recruiting for Vendor Relations - Packaging & Containers Team

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and legally astute Vendor Relations professional with 3-4 years of experience to join our Packaging & Containers team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will leverage their LLB degree and practical experience to manage and optimize relationships with our key vendors, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all packaging material suppliers and service providers.
- Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to legal and company policies. Leverage LLB knowledge for contract drafting and interpretation.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs), addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Conduct due diligence on potential new vendors, assessing their capabilities, reliability, and legal compliance.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments (Procurement, Operations, Quality Control) and external vendors.
- Manage vendor onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in vendor management and packaging.
- Handle vendor disputes and escalations, seeking amicable resolutions.
- Ensure timely procurement of packaging materials and services, coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams.
