Repair and Maintenance Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing and retail equipment, with a focus on maintaining the quality and functionality of leather processing machinery and store fixtures. This role requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, including leather processing equipment, cutting machines, stitching machines, and finishing tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair store fixtures, display units, and other retail equipment to ensure a high standard of presentation.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability for immediate repairs.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time taken.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance and repair operations.
- Collaborate with production and retail teams to identify and address recurring maintenance issues.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
