Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and legally-minded Town / Urban Planner with 4-6 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial for ensuring our expansion and development projects align with urban planning regulations, zoning laws, and environmental compliance, particularly within the context of the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their LLB degree and planning expertise to navigate complex legal frameworks and contribute to sustainable urban development for our hotel properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret local, state, and national urban planning policies, zoning ordinances, and building codes relevant to hospitality development.
Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on land acquisition, development rights, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory approvals for new hotel projects and renovations.
Prepare and submit planning applications, development proposals, and legal documentation to relevant government authorities.
Liaise with government officials, legal counsel, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate the approval process and resolve any planning or legal disputes.
Analyze urban growth patterns, infrastructure development, and market trends to identify suitable locations and assess feasibility for new hotel sites.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to completion.
Develop and implement strategies to address urban planning challenges and opportunities within the hospitality sector.
