Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tug Master with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Nagpur. The Tug Master will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tugboats, ensuring smooth navigation and cargo handling. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations and a commitment to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tugboats in various maritime conditions, adhering to all navigation rules and regulations.
- Perform pre-departure and post-arrival inspections of the tugboat, including engines, equipment, and safety gear.
- Execute towing operations, including line handling, coupling, and uncoupling, with precision and care.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate logs of voyages, engine performance, and any incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including emergency preparedness.
- Assist in cargo loading and unloading operations as required.
- Communicate effectively with crew, port authorities, and other vessels.
- Participate in regular training and skill development programs.
