Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer / Senior Buyer with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our dynamic procurement team in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for managing the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and other essential supplies for our agrochemical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, cost management, and supplier relationships within the Indian agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies in line with company quality standards and budget.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new sourcing opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on commodity prices, industry trends, and new product developments.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality control, finance) to understand their requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis.
