Able Seaman (AB) - Power (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Able Seaman (AB) with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Adani Power. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maritime operations within the context of industrial power plant support and have a strategic mindset developed through an MBA/PGDM. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our auxiliary marine operations, contributing to the overall success of our power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the operation and maintenance of auxiliary marine vessels and equipment used for supporting power plant operations (e.g., water intake maintenance, ash handling barges).

Perform routine checks, inspections, and minor repairs on vessel machinery and safety equipment.

Ensure compliance with all maritime safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Support logistical planning and coordination for marine-related activities, leveraging MBA/PGDM skills for efficiency.

Maintain accurate logs and records of operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Collaborate with shore-based engineering and management teams to optimize marine support operations.

Participate in emergency drills and respond effectively to any unforeseen incidents.
