Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 5th Engineer / TME to join our dynamic team in Thane. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-3 years of experience looking to grow within the import and export logistics sector. You will be responsible for assisting in the technical and operational aspects of our shipping and cargo management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day technical operations of the engineering department related to cargo handling and vessel support.
- Support the TME (Technical Marine Engineer) in managing equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures for all cargo and vessel-related activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and logs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of import/export processes.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for operational challenges.
- Conduct basic inspections and quality checks on cargo and equipment.
