Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing division. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing 3D printing solutions for our industrial equipment and machinery components. You will work on cutting-edge projects, driving innovation and efficiency in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize 3D printable parts for industrial machinery applications using CAD software.
• Select appropriate additive manufacturing technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS) and materials for specific component requirements.
• Prepare and orient 3D models for printing, generate support structures, and slice files using specialized software.
• Operate and maintain various 3D printers, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
• Conduct post-processing of 3D printed parts, including cleaning, surface finishing, and heat treatment.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows.
• Perform material testing and characterization to validate the performance of 3D printed components.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technologies, materials, and software.
