Billing / Planning Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing / Planning Engineer with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes and contributing to strategic operational planning within our ports and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience and a strong aptitude for analytical tasks and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify invoices and billing statements for port services, cargo handling, and logistics operations.
- Analyze operational data to identify billing discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and revenue recognition.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of billing schedules and payment tracking systems.
- Support the planning team in forecasting operational needs and resource allocation.
- Generate reports on billing performance, revenue trends, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing-related transactions and documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the billing and planning departments.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries and concerns.
