The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of direct and indirect taxation for the company, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws, and contributing to tax planning strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Handle tax assessments, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Provide support in tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated with amendments in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
- Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tax filings and audits.
