Civil Servant - Metals & Mining Sector (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Servant to join our Metals & Mining operations in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public administration, policy implementation, and stakeholder engagement within the context of industrial development and environmental regulations. This role requires a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and local authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to mining and industrial operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and address concerns.
- Monitor and interpret evolving government policies, legislation, and administrative procedures relevant to the metals and mining sector.
- Prepare and submit reports, applications, and other necessary documentation to government agencies.
- Provide strategic advice to the management on public affairs, policy matters, and regulatory landscapes.
- Coordinate and manage government inspections, audits, and site visits.
- Facilitate and participate in public consultations and community engagement initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in coordination with government guidelines.
