Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Crime / Arbitration Specialist with 4-6 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our Legal and Compliance team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating financial crimes, managing arbitration proceedings, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations within the FinTech and payments sector. This role requires a strong understanding of financial laws, dispute resolution mechanisms, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze potential cases of fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes within the company's operations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on findings and recommend preventive measures.
- Manage and represent the company in arbitration proceedings, including drafting claims, counterclaims, and submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Operations, Risk) to gather evidence and build strong cases.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Indian laws and regulations pertaining to financial transactions, consumer protection, and dispute resolution.
- Provide legal and strategic advice on matters related to crime and arbitration.
- Stay updated on evolving legal landscapes and industry best practices in FinTech and payments.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
