Criminal Law Associate (1-2 Yrs) in Printing & Publishing

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Criminal Law Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join our legal team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will support the legal department in managing various legal matters related to our printing and publishing operations, with a focus on intellectual property, contract law, and compliance. This role requires a B.A. degree and a foundational understanding of Indian criminal law principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and licenses.

Conduct legal research on relevant criminal law statutes, case precedents, and regulatory frameworks impacting the publishing industry.

Support the legal team in managing intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and potential infringement cases.

Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to publishing, content, and business operations.

Prepare legal opinions, memorandums, and reports as required by senior legal counsel.

Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.

Maintain organized legal files and documentation.
