Draughtsman

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Draughtsman with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role is crucial for translating complex conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and blueprints for large-scale live entertainment and event productions. You will leverage your advanced research and problem-solving skills to ensure the structural integrity, safety, and aesthetic integrity of event designs, working closely with creative directors, engineers, and production managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models for event structures, stages, sets, and installations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and building codes.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform design decisions, particularly for complex or novel event elements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, engineering, and production, to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Utilize advanced CAD software and simulation tools to visualize and test designs before physical implementation.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for fabrication, construction, and client approval.
- Oversee the technical accuracy of drawings throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to execution.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in drafting, design, and event production.
