Employee Health and Safety Management

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Employee Health and Safety (EHS) professional with an M.Pharma background to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees within our advertising and marketing operations. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment, compliance, and continuous improvement in EHS practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with Indian regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification across all office locations and operational areas.
- Design and deliver health and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, including factory acts and occupational safety standards.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and first-aid supplies.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare regular reports for management.
- Leverage M.Pharma knowledge to understand potential health hazards related to chemical exposure or pharmaceutical handling if applicable to office environments or specific projects.
