Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Medical Writer with a Master of Design (M.Des) background to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and communication skills to develop clear, accurate, and engaging medical content. This role is crucial for translating complex technical and medical information into accessible formats for various stakeholders within the railway industry, including internal teams, external partners, and potentially public-facing materials related to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit a variety of medical and technical documents, including safety guidelines, training materials, health advisories, and internal communication pieces, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Translate complex medical and scientific information into easily understandable language and visual formats, utilizing design principles learned during the M.Des program.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), including medical professionals and railway engineers, to gather information and ensure the technical accuracy of content.
- Create visual aids, infographics, and presentations to complement written medical content, enhancing comprehension and engagement.
- Ensure all content adheres to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company style guides.
- Proofread and edit documents for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Assist in the development of communication strategies for health and safety initiatives within the organization.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.
