Role Summary:
BYJU'S is seeking a motivated and empathetic Sports Psychologist with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Sc. in Psychology to support our student-athletes in developing mental resilience, enhancing performance, and fostering overall well-being. This role involves working closely with students, coaches, and parents to create a positive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address performance anxiety, stress, and other psychological challenges faced by student-athletes.

Develop and implement mental skills training programs focused on areas such as concentration, motivation, goal setting, and visualization.

Provide psychological support during training and competition to help athletes cope with pressure and setbacks.

Collaborate with coaches and educators to integrate psychological principles into training methodologies and educational programs.

Educate athletes and stakeholders on the importance of mental health and performance psychology.

Maintain confidential records of client interactions and progress.

Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in sports psychology.
