Lab Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and technically adept Lab Technician with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our innovative team in Bangalore. This role is crucial for developing and testing new experiential elements and technologies for live events. You will be instrumental in bringing conceptual designs to life, ensuring their feasibility, and optimizing their performance within the fast-paced live entertainment industry. This position is ideal for a candidate with 3-5 years of relevant experience who thrives in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, prototype, and test new interactive installations, AV systems, and stage designs for live events.

Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to translate creative visions into tangible, functional prototypes.

Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of materials, technologies, and prototypes to ensure safety, durability, and optimal performance under event conditions.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies and materials relevant to the live entertainment industry.

Troubleshoot technical issues during the development and testing phases, proposing practical solutions.

Maintain and organize the lab space, equipment, and inventory.

Document all testing procedures, results, and design iterations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Contribute innovative ideas for enhancing audience engagement and event experiences through technology and design.
