Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchant Acquisition Executive to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial for expanding our reach within the food processing and food service industry by identifying and onboarding new business partners. You will play a key role in business development and pre-sales activities, focusing on bringing new merchants onto our platform and fostering strong relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a BCA graduate with 1-5 years of experience to build a career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential new business partners (restaurants, cafes, food manufacturers, etc.) in the assigned territory.
- Initiate contact with prospective merchants through various channels (cold calls, emails, networking events).
- Understand merchant needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of Veeba's products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
