Opening for Merchant Acquisition - BD / Pre Sales | Reliance Retail

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our Merchant Acquisition team in Vijayawada. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new merchants, expanding our network, and driving sales growth within the consumer, retail, and hospitality sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage potential merchants (retail stores, restaurants, service providers) in Vijayawada.
- Conduct market research to understand merchant needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- Present the value proposition of Reliance Retail's merchant programs effectively.
- Negotiate and close deals with new merchants to expand our network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with onboarded merchants.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for merchant acquisition.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the product and operations teams for continuous improvement.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including demo preparation and client presentations.
