Planning Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will possess a BCA degree and have a strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination within the electronics manufacturing sector. You will be instrumental in optimizing production schedules, ensuring timely material availability, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
- Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on production performance, material status, and inventory levels for management.
- Work closely with the manufacturing, quality control, and engineering departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
