Role Summary:
Air India is seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our medical team in Guwahati. This role is crucial in providing mental health support and services to our employees, ensuring their well-being and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health challenges prevalent in a diverse workforce and possess the skills to diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for employees.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to employees experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Offer consultation and support to management on mental health-related issues impacting the workforce.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, HR, and relevant stakeholders to ensure holistic patient care.
- Conduct psychoeducational sessions and workshops on mental health awareness and stress management for employees.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in psychiatric research, treatment modalities, and best practices, particularly within the aviation sector.
