QC / Lab Chemist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC / Lab Chemist with 2-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products within the fitness and wellness sector. This role requires a strong understanding of analytical techniques and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical instruments and methodologies.
- Develop, validate, and implement new analytical methods as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing activities, results, and observations in compliance with company SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical chemistry and quality control techniques relevant to the nutraceutical and supplement industry.
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
