Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist with 3-5 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical dictations, reports, and other audio-based medical information. Your M.Des background will be leveraged to ensure clarity, consistency, and an intuitive understanding of complex medical terminology and documentation flows within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately transcribe dictated medical reports, patient histories, operative reports, consultations, and other medical documentation from audio files.
- Ensure consistent adherence to hospital and departmental transcription guidelines, style, and formatting standards.
- Utilize advanced design thinking principles to analyze and optimize transcription workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify ambiguous dictations or to ensure the correct interpretation of specialized medical terminology.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation, and correct medical terminology.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA and other relevant data privacy regulations.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical specialties and associated terminology.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in transcription processes and propose design-led solutions.
- Manage transcription workload effectively to meet daily and weekly turnaround time targets.
