Transportation Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Transportation Engineer with 6 years of experience to join our growing Facility Management team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and optimizing transportation systems and logistics within our managed facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of traffic flow, vehicle movement, and efficient route planning to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze existing transportation and logistics operations within facilities to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for optimizing vehicle movement, parking, and access routes.
- Design and manage traffic management systems, including signage, road markings, and traffic control devices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed transportation infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with facility managers, security personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Utilize traffic simulation software and data analysis tools to model and predict traffic patterns.
- Develop and maintain operational budgets for transportation-related projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations on transportation performance metrics and recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
