Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Zonal Sales Manager (B2B) to lead our sales efforts within a designated zone, focusing on the government and public administration sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, particularly within the complex landscape of government procurement. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical acumen, honed through an M.Tech degree, to understand and articulate the value proposition of our advanced engineering solutions to key stakeholders in public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive zonal sales strategy aligned with company objectives for the government and public administration sector.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within government ministries, public sector undertakings, and related agencies.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding zonal sales targets for BHEL's product and service portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing how BHEL's solutions meet their specific needs and challenges.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring favorable terms for BHEL while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Manage and mentor a regional sales team, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Stay abreast of government policies, tender processes, and procurement regulations relevant to BHEL's business.
