Career Opportunity: QC Microbiologist (1-2 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist with 1-2 years of experience to join our Quality Control team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Sc. in Microbiology and be responsible for ensuring the microbiological integrity of our products and processes within the oil and gas industry. This role requires a strong understanding of microbial testing techniques and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct environmental monitoring of manufacturing and storage areas.
- Identify and enumerate microorganisms using various microbiological techniques (e.g., plating, microscopy, biochemical tests).
- Investigate and troubleshoot any microbial contamination issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Prepare and sterilize media, reagents, and equipment.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QC processes and procedures.
