Civil Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Civil Engineer with a strong financial acumen, evidenced by an M.Com degree, to join our team in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing construction and infrastructure projects related to our manufacturing facilities and retail outlets within the Gems & Jewellery industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering expertise and financial understanding to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects, including buildings, infrastructure, and utilities for our manufacturing plants and retail stores.

• Prepare detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments, evaluating technical viability and financial implications.

• Manage procurement of materials and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness, leveraging M.Com knowledge for financial oversight.

• Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions, with a focus on financial control and budget adherence.

• Prepare regular project reports, including financial status, progress updates, and performance metrics, for senior management.

• Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and procurement teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
