Company Secretary / Compliance Officer | 1-2 Yrs

Role Summary: Avantel Limited is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Company Secretary / Compliance Officer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team in Thane. This role is crucial for ensuring our company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining corporate governance standards, and supporting the company secretarial functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law and compliance, with an M.Com degree.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory forms and returns with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) and other regulatory bodies.

Support in organizing and convening Board meetings, Committee meetings, and Annual General Meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and related documentation.

Maintain statutory registers and records of the company.

Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies applicable to the Defence & Aerospace industry.

Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate policies and procedures.

Liaise with external agencies, auditors, and legal counsel as required.

Stay updated with amendments in laws and regulations affecting the company and advise management accordingly.
