Crane Operator (1-3 Yrs) role in Insurance

We are seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious Crane Operator with 1-3 years of experience and an M.Des degree to join our team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes for various construction and maintenance tasks within our corporate facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design principles and material handling, leveraging your M.Des background to ensure optimal placement and stability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all operational protocols and safety guidelines.
- Inspect crane equipment daily to ensure it is in good working order and report any defects or malfunctions immediately.
- Interpret load charts and engineering drawings to determine lifting capacity and proper rigging procedures.
- Coordinate with ground personnel and site supervisors to ensure clear communication during lifting operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as required.
- Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in compliance with company safety policies and local regulations.
- Utilize knowledge from M.Des in understanding load distribution, stress points, and optimal placement of materials for structural integrity and safety.
