Export / Import Executive - Investment Banking / Venture Capital / Private Equity Sector (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Export / Import Executive with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and documentation, and a B.Sc degree. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the company's import and export operations, ensuring smooth and efficient cross-border transactions within the investment banking / venture capital / private equity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all import and export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade laws, regulations, and customs procedures in India and destination/origin countries.
• Monitor shipment progress, track shipments, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
• Manage customs clearance processes and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
• Assist in the negotiation of freight rates and other logistics-related costs.
• Support the business development team with import/export related queries and information.
