Role Summary: TERI is seeking a motivated and skilled Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree to join our team in Jaipur. This role will involve leveraging GIS technology to support our ongoing projects in sustainable development, environmental monitoring, and resource management. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in GIS analysis and a strong understanding of spatial data management and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain spatial databases for various environmental and social projects.
- Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in geographic data.
- Create high-quality maps, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate GIS data and analysis into project planning and execution.
- Utilize GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Assist in the development of GIS-based solutions for environmental impact assessments and resource management strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology and methodologies.
