Ground Staff

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ground Staff professional with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our operations team in Vijayawada. This role involves managing and optimizing the physical and digital customer experience within our bank branches, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to design standards. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and spatial planning skills to enhance branch aesthetics, customer flow, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement design strategies for branch layouts and customer touchpoints to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the visual merchandising and branding elements within branches, ensuring consistency with HDFC Bank's corporate identity.
- Analyze customer journey maps and identify areas for improvement in physical and digital interactions.
- Collaborate with branch managers and operations teams to understand on-ground challenges and propose design-led solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships for branch refurbishment and maintenance projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct site visits to assess branch conditions, identify design opportunities, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including floor plans, mood boards, and material specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in retail design, banking customer experience, and accessibility.
- Assist in training branch staff on new design implementations and customer service protocols related to the physical environment.
